Have you ever been to the bathroom after dinner? Sometimes food feels like a “pass”. But is it really so?

When you have a strong urge to drink after a meal, rushing to the bathroom is not the last bite.

Digestion time varies from person to person. Your age, gender and health affect your digestion.

According to the Mayo Clinic, it enters your body 2-5 days after eating.

However, it is difficult to accurately estimate the time of digestion as many factors affect the digestive process. Women also eat slower than men.

The entire digestive tract of an adult is 30 feet long;

It takes a long time for food to go. If you want to drink immediately after eating, you may have something called gastrointestinal colic reflex.

Take a bath after each meal

Gastric colic reflex is a normal response to the presence of various strong substances in the body.

When food reaches the stomach, your body releases certain hormones. These hormones move the intestines and transfer food to the body. This creates more dining space.

The effects of these reflexes can be mild, moderate or severe. They can be different for everyone. Some people experience these reflexes more often and more intensely than others.

Studies have shown that some gastrointestinal disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), accelerate the transfer of food to the bones after eating.

Some dietary and digestive disorders have acute or long-term effects on the gastrointestinal reflex. These include:

·         Anxiety

  • Celiac disease
  • Coronary heart disease
  • Fatty foods
  • Allergies or food intolerance
  • Inflammation of the stomach
  • Symptoms of intestinal inflammation
  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBD)

When these disorders impair the gastro-colic reflex, you may experience other symptoms, for example:

  • Abdominal pain
  • Minor swelling or partial discharge or gas
  • Frequent request for gas transmission
  • Diarrhea, constipation or intermittent diarrhea and constipation
  • Mucus in the stool
  • Immediate feelings after eating vs. Diarrhea and abdominal pain

Sometimes you may feel bloated, but this has nothing to do with your gastric colic reflex. This can happen during installation.

Diarrhea lasts for several days. If it lasts for a week, it could be a sign of illness and gastrointestinal problems. Common causes of diarrhea include:

Eating contaminated food and washing your hands incorrectly can cause bacteria and lice
  • Medications such as antibiotics
  • Food intolerance or allergies or intolerance
  • Use of artificial sweeteners
  • After abdominal surgery and gallbladder removal
  • Digestive disorders

Urgent defecation is required as there is no stool. People with urinary incontinence cannot control their bowel movements. Sometimes the ulcer comes out of the rectum, small or without warning.

Urinary incontinence can lead to loss of air and bowel control from small spots. Unlike the gastric colic reflex, an uncontrolled person can move quickly at any time, even if they have not eaten recently.

Here are some common causes for neglect:

Injury to the muscles of the rectum. This can happen during the birth of a baby, severe constipation or during some surgeries.

Rectal nerve damage. This could be a nerve that finds feces in the 안전놀이터 or controls the sphincter in your rectum. These injuries can be caused by stress during pregnancy, diarrhea, spinal cord injury, vascular disease and diabetes.

Soft stools are more difficult to store in the rectum.

Damage to the rectal wall. This reduces the accumulation of feces.
